Tips/ Serving suggestions
- You can custom the topping of your brownies by adding chopped almond on top of the batter or you can alternatively add some of your favorite additions like white chocolate chips, cherries, walnut and many more.
- Let the brownies cool down before cutting. By giving your brownies ample time to cool, it will make for a nicer and cleaner cut.
- You can also drizzle matcha ganache on top of your baked brownies for a better taste and served it together with hot coffee.
- Smack the brownies on the counter. This helps get rid of air bubbles in the brownies and creates more fudgy texture.
Steps:
Step 1:
Preheat the oven to 150°C. Grease a baking pan with butter and line with parchment paper. Set aside.
Step 2:
Next, melt the
white chocolate, butter and oil by putting a heat proof bowl on a pot of
simmering water.
Step 3:
In another bowl,
beat the egg together with castor sugar. Beat until the sugar is well
dissolved.
Step 4:
Sift the wheat
flour and Rosie’s Ross Matcha Green Tea Powder into the egg mixture and then
whisks them together until the mixture is uniform in color.
Step 5:
Pour the white
chocolate mixture into the flour mixture and fold it together until it’s free
of lumps and stir just until combined.
Step 6:
Spread the batter
evenly onto the prepared pan. Bake the matcha brownies for 30 to 35 minutes
Step 7:
Let the pan cool on
a rack for 20 minutes. Lift the brownies out of the pan and then cut into 16
bars.
